The Stroke Assosication are hosting The UK Stroke Assembly 2016 in Nottingham and Swindon on the 13th and 14th of June and the 7th and 8th of July respectively.
The Nottingham event will be a two day residential event and the Swindon assembly will be a streamlined 24 hour event with the same programme. People will be coming together to Share their stories, hear developments in stroke and take action on stroke. The UK Stroke Assembly brings together those affeccted by stroke to share thier hopes and concerns in a UK wide forum. This annual event brings together stroke survivors, carers and their families and gives them a voice to have their say on the issues that affect them.
The event will include talks, workshops and exhibitions focusing on practical solutions to support life after stroke, developments in research, stroke care and campaigning.
