Meeting Connectforce

InterAct family had the privilege of virtually meeting Victoria, one of the four founders of the brilliant Connectforce team.

Connectforce donates easy-to-use electronic devices to care home residents in order to regain connection with their loved ones, their clinicians and the wider community. The work they're doing is so important to combat loneliness and is such a great idea to bring the connection to isolated members during this time. They quickly saw the need for an effective and easy way to keep this connection in place when the plight of the country's care homes was brought to light by the onset of COVID-19. Many care home staff use their personal phones to give those in their care a chance to see their loved ones.

With over 20,000 care homes across the UK, their aim is to donate 2-3 portable device per home with a focus on those with little-to-no technology and limited funds.
